haha you never know what to expcet from a stang... but here are some hints

one exhaust tip.. it's a v6, you will trash it no matter what unless it's one of those fools who put 10k into a v6...

GT clearly says gt on it, 16v v8, all the boltons it's a mid 13 sec car.. bark def > bite
tons of GTs have blowers etc.. pretty easy to hear a blower on a GT, sounds like a bunch of crickets under the hood

pre 03 cobras, dohc v8 will do mid 13's stock, will do high 12's with all the boltons, blowers are the same deal on those cars...

03/04 cobras.. blown forged dohc v8... don't bother... 1500 into them is 450whp and an 11 sec car

gt500, jury still out on those.... possibly having weak internals but the package in theory sounds awesome 5.4L dohc blown forged v8... apparently with the basics they're making 500ish to the wheels, but then again it's a 4000 pound car... and again, people are saying the internals might have some weak links...

also I like that word you just made up... haha

 

I'm only scared of the supercharged cobra. I know the previous body style comes either w/ or w/o a supercharger. I don't know if they come standard on the newer ones.

but anyways. the ones without a supercharger aren't that scary, even they have trouble hooking up, by then they have to try and make up like 2 car lengths.

And thats the cobras, the GT's are a joke.

 

i race stangs anytime the wanna race. I do real good with the 99-2004 GT mustangs and even with the 99-2002 cobras. If its a stock GT auto I pull on them if its a modded GT 5sp with a good driver i dont lose by much. The G35 is a hella fast car for a 3.5L going up against V8 stangs and SS camaros which are over rated. I have beat 2 "super slow" camaros already and beat both even after the second one flored his first after he said he was'nt gonna race. ha ha.

FK STANGS... MY BEST KILLS WERE 2000 STANG COBRA @12PSI AND A STANG SALEEN @ 425HP ..(GUY DIDN'T DRIVE THAT WELL AND ITS PROBABLY LESS HP AT THE WHEELS) AND ALL 5.0'S..... THEY ARE SLOW.
THE ONLY STANG THAT BEAT ME WAS A 10K BUILT MACH 1 WHEN I HAD A MAJOR BOOST LEAK...

A GTO STAYED BEHIND ME THE WHOLE TIME BUT A MAGNUM SRT-8 HEMI(HOMO) BEAT ME AT A LAUNCH......

what kind of #'s u puttin down with ure set up? thats an envyable mod list u have, i guess u havent run into the 03+ cobras?? stock 390hp supercharged and ud be lucky to find one stock, most are well over 450rwhp with less then 2 grand. id love to see how u do against one and i sure hope you win.. i love the G and if ure spanking terminators you have made me a very happy person as i was in much debate between my G and a 03 cobra. the extra $$ wed have to pay for the F/I is worth everything else we get with the car!!

 

I guess if i felt racing meant something i'd do it, but then agian i've only had my car for 12 hrs so far....

 

I really see no reason to race unless I can win something other than bragging rights. I may take the G to the track just to see what it can do, but that would be the extent of my "racing"

 

never had a chance to dyno it...IM STILL NOT TUNED! just the reflash from turbonetics.... i think most of the time its just because the turbo has better topend compared to superchargers... i live in southern maryland and this hicktown is crawling with stangs. I guess im up along there with them... i still would loose to the modded Camaro z28's up here..not by much... they are 11sec cars around here.. about 2 of them

 

thats awesome those lT1's are no joke..the 03+ cobra pulls high 12's stock and like i said with 2 grand they're 11 sec cars, But they pull like a madman on the highway. I cant wait to F/I my car and basically fear no car on the street, while looking 10X better hahah..

 

The Elise is freaking sweet. I love my buddy's Elise. It moves too. 13.1s and 1.6 60 foots...stock.

That's really awesome you killed a 2000 stang cobra @12 PSI, only problem is there is no such thing as a 2000 cobra...

Also what saleen did you beat that was making 425horse? because the only stock saleen that comes with that much power is a saleen s281E and it's a low 11 sec car, the motor is fully built and capable of over 500 with just a pulley swap... If it was just a modded s281 supercharged 2v that's nothing special and prob wasn't making 425 horse...

And if you lost to a mach 1 with 10k into it that sounds about right because the local ones with that kinda money into them... they run rock bottom 10's what's done to your car?

Something tells me you're BS or just don't know enough about the cars you're racing... Where are you from, I'll detune down to 400 horse and we'll see if you can keep up...
