I prefer to throw a handful of ball bearings at their windshield as I blow by at 80MPH. That always gets them to notice what kind of car I drive. It usually makes them notice my tag number too.

Yup. Guys are easy.

Funny story... I was looking for a parking spot at the mall and as a guy in a G turned in front of me, I grinned and said what a great car he had. He thanked me, looked extremely flattered, and then got a funny look on his face. The only thing I could think of is he was concentrating on his driving and didn't see what kind of car I had until afterwards?

My chuckle for the day.

I do all of the above except for the finger. Head nod, high beam flash (daytime), Fog beam flash or just turn off my lights and turn them back on (nighttime), emergency lights, but I won't do the left right turn signal, it's cool and all but I remember some jacka$$ doing that to my dad and then he turned into him.

If you look at my comment above, I said that I use fogs too. It all depends on the situation.

Wave, don't flash your hi beams. For some of you that were NOT born before the CB radio. Flashing your hi beams three times in rapid succession meant that the local constabulary was up the road a piece. There are still a few of us out there that still have the common courtesy to warn others of the "long arm of the law".

Reminds me of a piece that was in Car and Driver many, many years ago.

It was about Porsche drivers and how they acknowledged each other on the road. The 914 drivers (914's were made in the VW factory and thus NOT considered REAL Porches) would stick their arms out the window and wave frantically at each other. The 912 drivers (lowly 4 cyl engine) would lift their hand from the wheel and wave through the windshield. The 911 drivers (6 cyl) would unclasp the four fingers from the wheel and wave with there thumb wrapped around the wheel. But the 911S drivers (then the fastest), all they need do is lift a mere index finger from the wheel to acknowledge each other.

How about show a fellow G driver a combo of a blinker flash to right, two quich flashes to the left while simultaneously flashing your brights and intermittently turing the fog lights on and off AND flashing your peace sign...and at night turning on an interior strobe and flashing neon around the pillars - o and a waving santa up front on the grill.
