I've dropped my phone in there twice. The first time, I approached the situation like the rest. Asking myself, how is this possible? Who the moron is that designed this aspect..etc etc. I did get it out after gathering various instruments to assist me.

The second time, knowing what torture was before me, I started sliding the seat hoping that by some miracle, I wouldn't have to operate on the car. I managed to crush my phone on the motor, but in doing so, the phone got stuck on an angle that I was actually able to reach in and pull it out!!!

Understandably, I was overwhelmed by both anger and happiness...

I dropped a CC down there one day and it took forever to get back out

Now I stuff some linens down there to fill the gap....voila-- now whatever falls down there is easily retrieved....

I like that pickup tool from snap on tho, Wayne. LOL, I've got most tools, but that one I don't have............................yet....

Santa, I need to amend my list....

C.

I always drop my lighter there and the easiest way is to move the seat all the way forward and get it from the back seat.
I don't know if this technique will work on coupes though.

That spot ate my 30GB black iPod and I didn't know it was down there for a couple days until my GF moved the seat up to drive it and.. crack!

Dropped a lit cigarette by accident. First reaction, grab water bottle and pour down crack. By far the stupidest thing i've done to her.

The worst I've had fall in there were my keys and also my garage remote. All 4 times, it's been at a bad time. I'm considering wrapping some foam or something with a bit a matching leather/vinyl and sticking it between the seat and console to prevent this in the future.
