......if I were to order 6.5 components would I be able to mount the tweeter in the factory location?? I have the non-bose system. I did in my Honda Civic Si I had before this but it was the biggest pain in the world.

I did it in my sedan with Alpine Type R components. The tweeter for the Type R's is pretty big but it fits, pushed the grille out a little bit but its not noticeable unless you're really looking for it.

How tough is it to install those components overall? I broke one of the tweeter housings on my Si by accident
I hear the G35 door panels are easy to work with thankfully.

they're very easy to work with. Once you get the panel off (Take off the aluminum trim and there's 2 10mm bolts in the there, and the other bolt under the square by the door handle) there's one or two clips holding the tweeter mount in place, pop em out and there ya go. Very simple.

I did not do mine in my G35, but in my prior 350z,(it had the same tweeter location as the G35) I was able to swap them out relatively painlessly. o yeah, I installed infiniti kappa perfect 6.5 components.
