Which Wipers to buy??

Does anybody here use the Bosch Icon??? They look pretty cool, I might pick up a pair today. Also a noob question: Since the Windshield Washer Jets are in the wipers, do you need certain wipers and is it hard to replace them on our car? THis will be my first time w/ the G. Thanks

The jets are on the arm, not on the blade, so it won't matter what wipers you get, so long as you don't get one with a built in spoiler.

Personally I like the PIAA wipers. I have them on my other cars. They last a lot longer than any other wiper I've used. They also seem to coat the windshield with some sort of rain-x type thing. I say that, because I have two cars with them. People keep asking me if I use rain-x because the water beads and flys off, but I never used rain-x in a very long time on that car.

On my other car, I have a PIAA blade on one side and a Bosch blade on the other. (Different sizes, and I needed one with a spoiler, because the stock one wouldn't fit the replacement).... Anyways, I noticed only the side with the PIAA blade has the Rain-X effect on the window. The water beads on PIAA side, but coats the window on the Bosche side. It's really wierd...

I got the Icons about 4 months ago and so far they've been great, no streaks. a little pricy but wipes better then the standard type. my old blades used to leave a portion in the middle smeared.

I have RainX Latitude wipers on the car now and they work very well. Same conceptual design as the Bosch Icon and the '07 G--there's a spring steel backer molded to the blade's rubber.

In my locale (Philadelphia, PA), Pep Boys has a buy one get one free thru rebate deal going, so that helps to take the sting out of buying $20 wiper blades! ;-)
