Serious vibrations G35 coupe

I was driving home yesterday and some a$$ clown nearly ran me off the road. I swerved to my left and must've hit a HUGE pothole that refilled itself during the night, a wondering curb that fled the scene, or some kind of LARGE and HEAVY road debris. Well, it felt like hitting a 5" tall curb at about 40MPH.. it sounded and felt damaging. I drove home and it seemed ok, I looked and there didn't appear to be any problems. I drove to work this morning and when I got over 50-55mph I noticed the car was vibrating a lot. It vibrates more when I turn the wheel to the left. Any ideas?
I took it to the dealer and they'll check it out, but I wanted to have a heads up to know what I should order so I can find the part at the cheapest location.. (Dealer = too much money).
I read a massive pothole can and will crack the control arm bushings, does that sound like a possibility? The obstruction was hit by my drivers side from wheel, no damage the rim from what I can see.

Thanks.

Yeah, alignment I already figure, the rim thing, I felt the lip all the way around and kind of eyeballed it and it didn't look bent. I'm hoping that's what it is though, as that would be the cheapest fix (elite warranty)..
I guess I'll know for sure tomorrow.

ya it is hard to tell some times visually, but hopefully it is just way out of alignment and you arent looking into some repairs

Yeah, I am hoping the same. I would much rather save the money up for my turbo or SC kit that is in my future...
At least the control arms are under $300 for the lowers online.. So I'm looking at $300-$500 max .. not even worth calling the insurance company (bastards and their rules.. it's not considered comprehensive because it's not a moving object... but the object isn't there right now, so it must've moved!..)

I'd say start with an alingment and maybe a balance on the wheel that got slammed. Then see if the vibration is gone before going the control arm route.

Well, the dealer said it's the Alignment and the wheel bearings, the hub has to be replaced.
dawg gonnit!
$240 for the hub assembly, and $120 for an alignment and I'll do the work myself.

i hit a huge landscaping rock doing "highway speeds" and damaged the passenger front wheel bearing with a vibration and droning every time I turned the wheel slightly to the right (as when changing lanes).

my dealer replaced the wheel bearing and did the alignment under warranty stating that hitting a rock at highway speeds should not have damaged those parts... i said "cool"

you dont need to get an alignment form the deal go pay like 60 bucks and get it done at a reputable alignment shop near you and as far as the hub assembly not sure how much that cost but it is not terribley bad to change that so you could most likely get it all fixed up for 250$ unless that is the cost of the hub with not install

replaced the Hub tonight, took about 45 min total, only problem now is the alignment, $120 at firestone for a lifetime alignment.. so that's not bad. I also noticed that one of my headlights is out. I need to talk to my sister-in-law and find out if it was out when I saw her ealier tonight, before I worked on the car. Not sure what could have caused the headlight to die out other than a fuse. .. it's the high and low beam on the drivers side.. the fog light works fine as do the blinkers and parking lights.
maybe there's a seperate fuse or something.. I can hope.

Well, my Sales guy at Infiniti told me there's no reason my HID's shouldn't work regardless of what happened on that side. It's not like I hit something and damaged it, it was a wheel impact. He said it should be covered under warranty, so at least I get so save about $140-$300.00 on HID parts.
The HUB did the trick, by the way. I wonder if I can convince Infiniti to pay me back for that part, since it should have killed the bearings (hitting a pothole or something)...
-Ps- The HUB + diagnosis was $320.00
total cost $320..
better than the $610 that the dealer wanted.
