Just one reason I moved out of NY back in 1987....

No problem with a pistol in this compartment or any other "factory installed container" (like a glove compartment, etc.) in your car as per Kentucky law.

I have no use for any state that fears its citizen's right to protect themselves at all times.

 

+1, but I make too much now to leave the state. Luckily I'm exempt from many of the state's crazy gun laws (not the storage ones, but the high-cap ones, and the "ag's regs" and "the list"....)

 

The probable cause that because I drive a G35, I'm "probably" carrying a weapon in my "secret" storage compartment.... I don't know...I was just taking a gander and trying to make a comical opinion about the situation that seem to have been blown out of proportion....

Officer: Do you have anything in your secret compartment sir?

Me: Only a first aid kit and a maxi pad that cme with the car sir....
