The s2k is desgined not to drift, and not to have it's back end come out which is another reason they want to keep their torque figures low.

The g35 is not really a drifting car due to it's heavy weight, but still leaves plenty of room for powerslide due to it's relatively high torque figures. I'm not saying you can't drift in a g35. I saw the falken g35 win the drift even at Infineon. However, that particular car was gutted and was pushing out a lot more power then out stock numbers (twin turbo).

I agree with the whole "point and shoot" driving, b/c the target for the g35 is more a GT sports luxury car. They want relatively easily control with good speed.

However, I love the g35's stock handling now although sometimes I wish the steering wheel could feel a little more stiffer at high speeds through a turn when I don't want any of the back end to come out.

controlling oversteer is all up to the driver with any rwd car. It might be very easy to control for someone that has done in several times (like me) but others might not feel comfortable doing it.
Me personally don't have a problem keeping my car under control while its sliding. Yet i did have problem once keeping a 330zhp under control because i haven't done that in that car. It all depends on the driver and how often he does it. Every car has a different way to swing the back out.
The way my suspension is set up is when u hit the apex just give it a little gas on 2nd gear going 40 and there is no understeer what so ever. The car goes into a controlable slide. There is also a way to do it way before the apex by jerking the wheel the opposite side that u are going to corner and swinging back to the direction that the bend is.

Bottom line is that it depends on the DRIVER. Give Tiff Needell any rwd car and he will make u think that it was design for drift competition.

you shouldn't be getting overstear. If you are talking understear which most on this thread are, it's fairly easy to control with the right stearing and throttle control

way to bring a thread back from the dead, but I agree that in stock form the G has much more tendancy to understeer than oversteer. I think alot of people confuse induced sliding as oversteer due to attacking a corner improperly. If you come flying at a corner and then crank the wheel, of course its going to slide, but thats not the correct way to get around the corner the fastest, and if done right, you'll see a tendancy for the front to want to still drift wider than you want it to in a high speed turn
