Interesting results after performance muffler install

Ok long story short
I have CAI installed on the car and with stock exhaust was running 5.8 0-60 best time and 14.4 1/4 mi
now after installed straight thruegh free flowing muffler I am geting 6.0 0-60best and 14.7 in 1/4 mi.
Exhaust sounds butifull but I am wondering if I have lost too much back preasure and am loosing low end torque because of this.
Also my inlet on the muffler is 2.5 inch vs stock 3.0 inch so its s bit more narrow but muffler you can see thrugh, just like a resonator pipe.

What is going on here? Suggestions please.....

Also, let us know if it is a dual exhaust or not. If its a single pipe exhaust make sure that your muffler is big enough if not it is really easy for it to have to much back pressure and you will loose bottom end and top end.

ok muffler i got is a no name brand from ebay.. I know what you all will say. But the design and finish is great, stainless steel, two tips, sounds exelent, got that deep growl. Not a dual exhaust design, just a single like on a stock 03 sadan.
I defenetly dont think this muffler is more restrictive, you can see thruegh it. So the probelm i think is no back preasure which equals less low end torque.

cant be a dual exhaust (if i'm reading this correctly). sounds like he just changed the muffler, nothing else.

btw, what were your intentions for getting this? if you wanted gains...id recommend just saving up for a catback or at least a ypipe back...

isnt the muffler smaller than the stock muffler though...?

the results you posted in the first post...are those from the same day? if not, then weather conditions could have been different which will affect your results

yes it is smaller. but its see thruegh basicly like a resonator. So can it really provide more back preasure?
