Invisicord Install Questions

A question about the Invisicord install on the Homelink mirror. Search showed a lot of threads edging on what I am looking for, but none that I could find hitting it dead on. When installing the invisicord, instructions direct you to place the cords in position as seen in the attached picture. My question is that are we to place the invisicord wires in the slots occupied by the G35 wire specified in the diagram (ex: place invisicord Yellow wire in same slot occupied by G35 Black+Pink wire), or rather in an unoccupied slot adjacent to one of these wires? I don't anything as it relates to electrical wiring, so some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

you place the invisicord wires in the slots occupied by the G35 wire specified in the diagram (ex: place invisicord Yellow wire in same slot occupied by G35 Black+Pink wire). When I did mine it was a bit difficult to push them in at first but they will slide in.

Appreciate the help. What will keep the wires locked in place inside the slot?

can you post pics of your install? I'd like to see what is involved. I've heard it's really easy, I just want to see the slot.

It is really easy. Three minute job. At the end of the wires is a flat prong that is held in by the tightness of the slot.

Exactly as described above -- you push the invisicord wire into the slot with the existing wire. It's held in by the fact that there's now two wires in the same slot. I tied the wire with a twistie (like the ones that come with garbage bags) around the mirror harness so there wouldn't be any tension on the wire.
