Exclamation help!

last night i started my 04 coupe (23k miles) and there was urgent beeping noise and an orange symbol shaped like a horseshoe with an exclamation point inside it lit up on my console. the symbol is right below the 'not wearing seatbelt symbol' to the left of the speedometer. wtf does this mean?

Sounds like you are referring to the Low Tire Pressure light. Check your tire pressure. Was it very cold out? If so, it could have just been due to the temp, but definitely check out your tire pressure.

yeah, sounds like the TPS (tire pressure sensor). they're pretty sensitive -- lose a few psi and beep, beep, beep. correct your air pressure and it will take a while (? minutes) before the sensor realizes all is well and stops beeping. Kash

+1, it is just your tps. Put some air in the tires and you should be fine.

Ok..........

If your running the correct psi in your tires a temp change shouldn't make
your tps go off.........could be a nail!

It could if there's a drastic temp change. I've seen a 5psi drop with extreme temp changes.

Does anyone else's beep anymore? Mine only beeped the 1st time and never since, but my light has come on plenty of times, as a matter of fact it's been on for a month but all my tire check OK. Must have a faulty sensor, still no beep tho

reminds me of the LASER warning on a lot of radar detectors....it makes sure you know it's going off..
