I just do oil changes at the Nissan dealership accross the street from work for $31, and save all receipts.

I don't know if you will be able to negotiate the price for an oil change, but back when I was going to the dealer for the major service intervals, I would make them list each item by price and I would remove all of the inspection and other silly things that I did myself.

But after paying $300+ for my 15k service I decided never again to take the car for service. I buy filters from Infiniti, Mobil 1 oil for the engine, Nissan oil for the diff and trans and do it all myself. I staple the receipts in the maintenance manual just in case :-)

Thats what they charged me for Castrol Syntec, $75. That's why I buy mobile 1 and do it myself for half the price.

I can tell you that Niello is great as far as parts goes for the NSX club. They give the NSXCA 25% off parts. I'm in Boston and ordered many of my parts from them (they used to do free shipping, not sure if they still offer that). Perhaps something can be arranged with them for Infiniti parts as well.

Dear Lord that's expensive for an oil change! Even after my BMW was outta warranty it never cost that much just for an oil change service. My local Infiniti dealer charges only $13 for oil & filter changes IF you purchased your Infiniti from their dealership. And, because they are the only Infiniti dealer w/in a couple hundred miles, they have a tendency to overprice their cars. That's how they tried to justify their high price on the car and why I should buy from them (I did not buy from them, HAHA). But even without the added "perk" of the cheaper oil change price, it's still half the price of your dealer's $73!
