Seriously, I think they are just panels that make the underside of your car "smoother" (they box in some gaps). Anyone with me on this?

They are just panels, and a few smaller pieces... I put on the underbody aero-kit on my '03 Coupe and it wasn't much....not really worth the effort or $200.

Two larger pieces went inboard from the rear wheels and sat pretty well flat, and 2 other larger 'L' shaped pieces fit the far corners at the rear just in from the bumper.

There were several small pieces that I didn't bother with that fit somewhere inboard of the doors just behind the rockers.

Pictures have long gone sorry, but the dealer will have them on fiche if you really want to go this route.

C.

It is intended to reduce turbulence under the car. Supposedly will decrease CD by .01.. from .32 to .31 I believe or was it .30 to .29? whatever....
That 'should' help mileage, but it's doubtful you would ever see it on a daily basis.

It's hard to say, based on fuel economy alone, probably not. But if you do a lot of interstate travel maybe you will save a few cents between fillups. So 10 or 15 bucks a year? I don't know....
Most of us got the 'package' because it included some other goodies, like the rear spoiler, or it's what the dealer had on the lot, or maybe it adds a little resale value.
