ive got it, its impossible to notice 5-10hp when you have almost 300 as is but throttle responce is a bit faster and the car does seem to pull hader past 6k rpms with it on

yea i know weather flactiation can make a differance,,,,
I will test more in different weather but it seems my torque at lower rpm is less,, I can tell by slower 60ft times

i think with all these spacers, you will lose torque at low rpms. even the Motordyne ones.

hahaha he said ricer computer.

like i say all the time... those gtechs are a piece of shiznit.

I would recommend putting the stock intake box back on. With both the spacer and intake, the lower rpm air flow is seriously compromised. I've noticed that my car (5/16" MD spacer) drives much better with the stock airbox rather than with the Power Duct removed. Your spacer is huge too and that is going to kill lower rpm power and throttle response until the airflow into the manifold becomes more laminar in the mid to upper rpms, hence the reason to dump the worseless *insert any style intake* and put the stock airbox on. Your spacer is TWICE the size of my 5/16" spacer. That's very significant and will definitely hamper lower rpm power.

FYI, my spacer gained me a legit 1.5mph+ in the 1/4 mile. I couldn't beat my best ET though (14.32), but that was probably due to the worse conditions I was racing in.

Put your stock airbox back on and drive around for a few days. I think you'll be suprised with the results. Don't let the change in induction noise fool your mind into thinking you're slower.

I have thought about this too. Especialy with my free flowing exhaust it will lower the low RPM power even more..
I jsut wish i had my stock Air box..

Also I thought about puting the stock Sedan muffler back on since it provides low back preasure which i probably need now..I also am running without a stock resonator, which i replaced with an 19" glass pack
What you guys think?

Yes to both. You can get a stock airbox for less than $15 and an OEM muffler for probably less than $50. I think you'd be suprised with the improvement. The stock muffler is not a restriction. It's a variable capacity muffler that has an internal valve which allows for great low and higher rpm breathing. A similiar setup is employed on most every late model Benz, BMW, and even the Corvette Z06.

look at the differences between the 1/2 and the 5/16... there is a pretty decent difference between the two. The difference in size moves the powerband greatly from one end to another
