Can't Rely On Navi
I ran my Navi "miles to empty" count down to "1" as I stragled up to the pump. The last 4 miles clicked down in what could have been no more than 6 blocks. I lost 4 pounds of sweat in those same blocks but made it to my favorite Shell. A little disappointed when only took 18.5 gals. Now thinking the Navi set-up does not add additional sensors down in the tank - its more like you're using the Navi as a $2,000 calculator that probably uses the same sensor that the idiot early empty light does. By the way to all those who never take a chance & fill tank 1/4 early - it felt real good to risk & conquer kinda like going over 100mph on those rare occasions!!

Guys, I filled up my tank with about 16 gallons last time. It only lasted me about 180 miles. The light came on and the gauge is pretty damn low. This is all city driving and I always shift before 3K RPM. That is like 10-12 MPG. BTW, I have an 05 MT Coupe.
Realistically, how many miles do we have once the needle hits empty? On my old car, I was able to get about 20-40 additional miles once the needle was all the way down.
