Hard Top Convertible G??

Was at the dealer today asking questions about the new g, he stated that they were making a hardtop convertible for the g....has anyone heard this too?

WHAAAT??? i heard this too when i was the dealer getting my G serviced. i thought the guy was crazy LOL

thats not fast, doesnt handle too well and feels weighed down.. great curising car tho.. just doesnt have the fun factor for me.. i used to drive a friiends all the time.. it was her spare car.. bastard huh JK LOL

yea a hardtop convertable G is on the way in about a year or so.

Infiniti is stepping it up!!!

And what exactly would you expect out of a convertible G35?

Weigh more, which means it isnt going to be as sporty, decreased acceleration, won't handle as well as the coupe, which will make it a great crusing car.

Convertibles are'nt meant to be sporty. Well, atleast in most cases they aren't.

I really hope Infiniti keeps a convertible out of the line-up.

But I highly doubt it.

it's been in the works since 2005 to build a hardtop convertible like the volvo c70 and the BMW 3 series. it's hard to make it work in that huge trunk of the coupe

Yes, I heard from a very credible source it's in the works. The engineers are trying to make it as rigid as possible (for a hard top vert) and that's what was currently being worked on when I last heard a couple of months ago.
