If he does ever pull you and give you a ticket for the exhaust, you can seriously F him in court for harassment, so do not worry about it too much.

That's funny. I got pulled over in my Audi and the cop was like "You must have been going fast because you have a stock exhaust and I could hear you down the street". He pulled me over for white rear turn signals but had to add that in. I do have an aftermarket exhaust though so I was just like "oh?" Idiot.

Tell him next time to crawl under the car and read the exhaust stamp in the left hand corner.

Sick of how loud Harleys are- oh, that's OK. WTF?
+10000. Harleys are much louder than aftermarket exhausts. I've never thought about this before now.

Part of the reason I have no concerns about running off-road headers around my town is that the almost everyone drives trucks, and most of those are modified turbo-diesel trucks and are every bit as loud as a rig (18-wheeler). And, of course, the cruiser bikes (Harley, etc.) are even louder.

**** license plate fron New Jersey on a black car even in the bracket looks very very ugly , plus now cops give you a ticket if the bracket closes the New Jersey sign on the plate. This days they find any way they can get their hands on peoples money. **** i bet soon they will say spinners and low profile tires are illigal.
You already admitted that you had illegal side markers and plate issues. As for the plate cover thing, yeah thats to keep *******s from useing plate hiders to cheat Toll roads and red light cameras. He was wrong about the exhaust but you should consider yourself lucky as you were breaking the law.

wow you guys are willing to put up with a lot of **** .... if a cop gave me **** about my stock exhaust; Mr. Cop would be personally intruduce to Mr. Lawyer. Don't let the bad pigs gett away with crap like that. If a cop is harassing you ... take his *** down.

personally i have never had any trouble with the cops around here .... the most harassment i ever got was a cop telling me my blinker was out .... guess cops are pretty cool in seattle

I can't stand Harleys and how loud they are... and the riders on them think they're so cool, but they're lame.

If you really think your being harrassed, you can fill out a civilian complaint form at the precinct your in. In NYC each complaint HAS to go before the judge. If you have a valid complaint, the officer loses vacation days for his actions.

Valid complaints include ... the officer swearing, taking to long to write a ticket, speaking to you disrespectfully, obviously hitting you... etc.

Yup. They DO work for you. Its probably not a great idea to remind them that. But if you feel youve been verbally abused. Fill out a form.
