Definitly the G35C. I do not care for the look of the G37.

Personally; I would not buy a 40K car that i had to MOD in order to get the looks that the G35 already had out of factory. It is not easily fixed.

G37 vs G35

Sponnie please! Who the heck wants to know which is the better car?
The G37 has more HP, nicer interior, it's new, faster, nicer, and is of course the better car. Nobody can dispute that. THat isn't the question here.
The question is how the looks of the new g37 coupe compare to the g35 coupe. And the answer is....
IT DOESN"T COMPARE. The G37 is very disappointing. I can't believe I waited all these months for it. I would never pay 40k for that car. Looks like a cheaper car (mustang and a 1/2 dozen other cheaper coupes).
The bimmer and audi are now way better looking, along with the g35.
So now, I'm looking for a nice 05-06 g35, preferably black, sport, loaded.

i will vote G35c just out of sheer disappointment of the G37. Put them side by side in a few months and let me pick one for free, I would probably take the newer, faster G37 with better interior. BUT- I, like many people, expected so so much more out of this car based on concept and all the hoopla. I'll vote G35c.

i debated this issue with myself for a long time. back and forth, back and forth... should i wait for the g37 or should i pick up a g35?

performance wise the g37 hands down...
also, the interior and new gadgets are nice on the g37.

BUT!,!, after driving behind an 07 g35 sedan (same int basically) all day (courtesy car), i was able to sorta get a feel of what the cockpit experience was going to be like AND i wasn't impressed... felt unsporty... like i was actually driving a real luxury car...

though, i did push that car scary hard on long straights and even let the rear end loose on a bunch of lefts and almost every off ramp i jumped on... and it handled beautifully!

so i debated again... then:

once i saw the production body of the g37, the choice was clear...

i picked up my 07g35c6mt!!!

yeah the g37 will eventually grow on everyone...

better looks/style + a perfect @55 > slightly better performance (which you would only be able to see on a track/dyno)

imho the g35c classy body though is timeless... years (10-20) from now people will still say, damn that's a sexy car (g35c)!

I agree, g37 smells a bit too "old man" for my tastes... more luxury, less sport.
The thing I love about the G35c is how it is almost the perfectly quintessential "concept car" coupe for the '03-'05 years... if you remember looking at concept cars in 1999 when people were trying to predict what cars would look like in '05, it was the G35c... especially the curves and the wheel design (i.e. the 18s)... the wheels are very indicative of the time.

Just my .02 ... I have no regrets in buying my 04 even with the new ones coming out... extra hp? That's what mods are for!
