Help.... Bad Gas made my G...Die

Lastnight I was detailing my G...and I saw a Gas tank in the garage . And stupid meeh was thinking like **** it free gas.... As I put dat **** in....the next day my wife drove it , the car started to choke alot and it die...on the streets , So I got there and put some new gas in it, but now the car runs ok (I Guest) ..but Check Engine Light wont go alway???

Wow, always know what you're putting into your car! I'd take it to the dealer (especially since your check engine light is on). Stupid question but is your gas tank cap put on okay? If its not then you can also get the check engine light. Just a thought.

^^ thats what I was thinking.

Why would you ever mix random tanks of gas in your garage with a car that requires premium fuel?

Don't worry if you didn't put that much (1-2 gallons) in it should be fine. Let it cycle through ASAP and don't do that ever again! You just put tons of crap in your cyclinders and pistons. Maybe fuel cleaner will help in this situation.

The CEL won't to away instantly. It will probably stay lighted for xx amount of turns of the key, ie.. until the engine doesn't see that code for a time. Then it should go out. But if anyone hooks up the obdII scanner, they might be able to see past tripped codes.
