wth is a 9 month maintenance?

bought my G in Nov.. only had it for 5 months, and Infiniti decided to send me a 9 month maitnenance service?

what does this involve and how much is it?

look in your service manual and it'll tell you what all it entails. You probably dont need it. Just the dealer trying to get you in and spend ridiculous amounts of money that isnt necessary.

is my paint covered under warranty? parked under a tree, had some tree crap landing on my hood, i removed it today, tried some cleaner wax but the markings are embedded onto my clear coat or ate away some clear coat...

our paint sucks. i hav a blk G

no, its not warranted. I agree, Infiniti paint is very very soft.

I would simply have your engine oil changed at the next interval. You can check the fluids yourself. Depending on your mileage, everything else should be fine.

Service intervals are calculated based on average mileage per month. Most go at 15K per year. My car just turned 9200 miles and is well over a year old. Even the dealership said that I'd not need the 6 month, 9 month, or even 12 month. Moreover, go to the actual mileage figures in the service schedule and use them. You might want to do a 7500 mile service if you have not been keeping up with it at you local oil change place. For the most part it's just looking at the belts and hoses, brakes, lines, etc. as well as the oil & filter plus the air filter check/or change. Might check the wipers as well.

Other than that... I'd just keep up with the mileage service intervals per the owners service manual.
