Bout to bring in my 05 for some warranty work soon (back windows creaking), what are my chances of getting an 07 G35 loaner car?

Dealer here had several '07 X's lined up for loaners...unfortunately, I was a week too early to get one when I had my G in for some work a couple of weeks ago.

if you mention it to the service guy prior to coming in, he might be able to arrange it.. it could help the dealer sell another car right?
There is a waiting list for the 07's. Call the dealer and when you make your appointment, tell them you want to get an 07 loaner. The only thing is it could take 3 weeks to get your appointment.

I got stucked with an 05 loaner, all the 07 were out. It'll be a while before they change up most of their loaners

I would love to drive one myself as a loaner for the day, but part of me wouldn't want to, as it'd tempt me too much & then would probably be itching to trade my car in for one.

Of course, absent some required repair, it will probably be close to the time the 08's come out before I need a loaner again. I'll probably be taking my car in for the 45K service late this summer just before my 4 year main warranty is up.

Just make sure you tell them well in advance. Nothing says they have to give you the loaner you want. Guys with Q-45s usually get G-35s, for example. Some of them actually get upset, imagine that!
