I am considering getting a K&N cone airfilter will it cause any potential damage? also this wont void any kind of warranty or wont cause infiniti dealership to give me any crap about it being there will it?

my coupe is an 03 with a full borla dual exhaust and headers, with a stock intake. PLus i am also running a 19 inch setup. I know that all this plays a part with my fuel, but i am still concerned. I dont have any engine lights of anything so i havent got the car looked at, but i still think something is wrong becuase that needle moves PRETTY dam quick. I just put a half a tank in the car today, what should i be looking for as in gas mileage to see if the car is running in normal limits???

Just calculated my mileage for my second tank of gas since I got my 05 G35X A/T. It is 13.5mpg. But it was fun.

I dont think it will, that is just to improve air flow to the engine and keep it cooler. IF anything ever happens dealer has to prove, that the demage was caused by the cone filter. And i don't think it will void any warranty. You canb also write email to the K&N and ask them they will tell you.
