alignment problems please help
Hey all, i've had trouble with my front end suspension for the past week. I have installed tein s-tech springs, tokico adjustable shocks, and stillen sway bars. I drive an 03 coupe.
The car has trouble taking turns at higher speeds, or hard turns at medium speeds (50-60). I am assuming that the front left tire is losing traction and my VDC will shut power to the engine and make the turn VERY hard to take.
I have gotten the car aligned and here are my before and after specs:
Front: Before: Cross Camber - .4 degress After: .4
Cross Caster - 0 degrees 0
cross SAI - (-.5) degrees -.5
total toe - .05 degrees .09
left front: before: camber (-1.3) After: (-1.3)
caster 8.6 8.6
Toe .10 .06
SAI 5.1 5.1
Included angle 3.8 3.8
Right Front: Before : Camber (-1.7) After: SAME
Caster 8.6 SAME
Toe (-.05) (-.03)
SAI 5.6 SAME
Included Angle 3.9 SAME
The shop told me that the front camber and caster was not adjustable and that they aligned my ride to the best possible. I am seriously in need of a suspension mod to fix this problem. Do i need Upper control arms?
your help is greatly needed and appreciated.
