starting in 1st gear

isnt it kind of weird for the car to be able to start in first gear? i have been driving the 06 6mt for a yr and ACIDENTALLY started it in 1st gear for the first time. i was kinda pissed and wasnt paying attention

hope no damage was done

why would there be any damage when you are pressing down the clutch? or am i missing something?

i accidently forgot to take the car out of gear once and stalled right after i started lol that was embarassing...

yeah thats what happened. i forgot to mention the stalled part..

luckily it was at home...lol

i was suppose to start teaching my lil bro how to drive a stick.

is it bad for the car if he keeps stalling or revs too high? probably yes right?

you should be alright. No damage done what so eva. Now if you rev the engine to about 5 k and then do the same........thaat will give you lots of problems. You can brake the drive line, rear axle and many many other things.
