Cars are made to be driven!

I drive my Coupe 1700 miles each way from Savannah to Denver, or Dothan, AL, to Denver, once a month. About 24-27 hours of driving. Also, do it in the Saleen, both are fun, but I get the thumbs up with the Saleen....

Cars and bikes are made to be driven!

1 hr commute each way everyday and go up to tally (270ish miles each way) twice a month, its lots of fun. But Sirius has a lot to do with it, once you get within like 100 miles of Tallahassee, all u get are country stations

sacto to irvine in cali... 400 miles and 5 hrs of driving.... a couple of miles of 7% grade uphill up the grapevine @ 70mp.... hate it when slow as driver pulls in front and brakes when going uphill...

my integra is the best for so far for road trips. good gas mileage, turbocharged, and the seat is comfortable. unlike my G. my leg gets numb and my back hurts when i drive more then 30mins in the G.

also, gas mileage sucks azz on the G. the leather seats are way too stiff.

Stress testing for these cars goes well beyond 400 miles at highway speeds. many of us have taken the car to the track a few times which is immense amount more stress on the car. not to mention that 400 miles at highway speed is much much easier than 400 miles of stop and go.

I was driving 120 miles a day back in forth to work but I cut that out due the expense of gas and other stuff and not enough money

The year is 2007, it's a modern day car not the Ford T model. We live in the new millennium. Drive the car for god's sake...

We drive our G for 1200 miles round trip almost every two weeks from NY to NC and back. I am loving every minute of it. I gotta say our 06 G is a lot more comfortable on long trips than our 05 Maxima was.

I don't mind taking the G on long trips--the only thing I hate is rock chips from semis, and all the bug splatter....

Where abouts in Upstate NY Pepepr? I'm from Albany and went to school up in Potsdam. Used to make the 3.5 hour trip through the Adirondack Mountains all the time. Only thing you gotta worry about is hitting deer and or moose

Next month I will be driving from New York to Florida and back, 1,300 miles each way over three days.
The G will have 1,300 miles on it when I leave. I will get an oil change before departure.

Any thoughts, suggestions?

Geez......Thats nothing.

I drove my G into outerspace, and it was fine. However, I did notice it didn't feel the same or run just right once I left the Earth's atmosphere......Actually, I did leave the Earth's atmosphere a few times, but it wasn't in my G!

I do it almost every other day.

As much as 400 miles a day. Usually around 6 hours.

I got my car May 31 of 07 and I'm due for the 25k mile oil change.
