need help from your previous expierience where dealer damaged car.

ok so car was at the dealer for a whole week..for the steering column to be replaced... long story short. went to pick it up today and it was scratched up all over. the hood trunk pillers front bumper. so i refused to accept the pick up. and was told to talk to the service manager about this from the reception desk, because everyone else already went home.

my ? to you guys is. anyone expierience anything similar where the dealer breaks/scratches something. and what happened what they do and what was needed to be done. thanks guys.

demand a new ride. Threaten that you'll take this matter to corporate.

Make sure they admit guilt. Then, tell them you will pick a detail shop of YOUR choice. When the survey comes, make sure you destroy it with negative feedback.

yes one of the service reps that i talked to said that it wasnt there because i had the car symonized last week and it was in perfect condition with the $700 paint protection. and also i am writing an email to HQ right now telling them the story see what they will say.

Take photos. Preferably with a high-end camera with a macro lens so you can do close-ups.

Dealership scratched my bumper putting on my license plate. Though they never clearly said they admitted fault, the manager came out and told me they'd fix it.

Call Infiniti Inner Circle And Report It Thats What I Did I Got A Dent From A Oil Change. They Are Going To Fix It This Weekend And Give Me A Free Lunch. But I Want More Out Of It.

Which dealer, West Haven or Hartford?

Suby01, I'm in CT and was curious which dealer you had the issues with, W Haven or Hartford.

do you have the number? because im too stressed right now to even attempt to look for it.
also was it straight forward enough to deal with them or was it a long process? thanks

Look At My Threads I Have Made A Thread About It Also. The Number Is On My Thread. They Are Suppose To Call You Every Time You Are Done With Service. But I Never Got A Call Because Im Never Home But I Called Myself And Reported It.

Yeah that's a really Weird Way To Type

In any case, once the dealer has admitted fault, time to go to town on them.

On my 04 coupe, they managed to scratch it during an oil change. They offered to fix it but I refused knowing the whole fender will need to be sanded down and repainted, which was not worth it. I ended up letting their detailer touch it up. He did a pretty good job. Not perfect, but was good enough to hide it for the most part.

Not much I could do. They offered to pay for the whole body work, but I declined.
