I notice they have updated the Bluetooth site:

Infiniti Bluetooth site

They also have a page listing phones that are in testing:

Strange, they have my Blackberry listed (7130) as not being able to display signal strength or battery life, but I regularly have these items displayed on my screen...

Guess I'm just lucky or something...

The lists are different for nav vs. non-nav cars so that may be why yours works.

Thanks for the link BTW - I'm still out of luck though.

You can display battery life? I've only noticed signal strength displayed on mine.

With mine, the battery only shows on the phone screen - press the phone button

I check the list and my phone (cingular/att 8525) doesn't show up but it works fine - no problems all. I did add software to download all contacts at once, which also gave me the on-screen display of signal and battery, but it worked fine without it.

I wonder why it takes so long to test phones. Just get someone a pile of phones and a car and tell them go use them, one after the other. connect them, make a call, take a call and that's that. I'm sure it's more complicated but really.....

Do you mean on the car or on the phone? I curious since I wasn't aware an update on the car was an option.

battery life does not show on the main map screen only signal strength.

they're also testing how to download your whole phonebook into the system as well

I heard that many phones not listed on the website work, including my Cingular Nokia.

Oh it's clear that quite a few of the phones not listed seem to work. The problem for me is that my phone does not work properly and I have TMobile and not a single phone on the list of my "upgrade" options was listed on the Infiniti list either. I just wish I knew someone with some of those phones so I could try and test them out.

I currently have bluetooth in my '06 G35 coupe. I am planning on upgrading to the G37 when my lease is up this fall. As for the bluetooth in my car, it is fairly difficult for people to hear me well all the time (even with all the windows closed). Is there anyone on here who has had both a 1st generation G and a second gen G with bluetooth? If so, is the quality about the same or did you notice any improvements in sound quality (from the person on the other end)?

Thanks!

I have the Samsung MM-A900 which they have on their site as being able to show caller id, signal strength, and battery life and I am unable to see any of those. I have been trying to get info from them as to how they got it to work but can't get an answer.

BT calling/listening quality leaves much to be desired, finally divorced my phone from the car...
