Well after having the car for about 2 weeks...Ive gotten used to it and began to test it out. The suspension modes are most effective and noticable at high speed. The advanced mode is PHENOMENAL, it transforms a 4 door all wheel drive volvo into a CURVE HUGGIN Beast that just wants to be pushed to the redline (engine sport mode is automatically engaged when advanced suspension is engaged). very fun to drive at speed and very much incontrol even in HEAVY RAIN! (anyone in the tristate area knows how rediculous the weather has been)..comfort mode definatly ok for a round town and bumby roads. sports good for a highway that isnt new or somewhat rough

In its first tests a 330cic bmw was demolished. and brand new 328xi coupe got waxed. FX45 was put to sleep..I spent 15 min morning commute weaving with a Jag S-type R which was fun

Ok but the car has ***** (15psi STOCK in sport mode) makes the engine really crank..and so my most formidable oppent to date has been a CLS 55 AMG

2 weeks ago friday afternoon i pull on to the park way on my way home..when i merge so happens cls 55amg is next to me..i get in front of him..he weaves n passes gets in front of me..Hes a DR. license had an MD on it..i chuckled abit I follow him so happens hes goin the same way as i am...we take the exit off ramp at about 30-40..which merges to the express way.. Iam right behind him...the exit ramp goes to the LIE service road which has a 3 lane 1.25 mile section b4 entering the expressway. As soon as we get off the ramp he goes far left i go right, we split a mini-van and were about dead even my nose was at the back of his front door, and we pulled even to about120 where i began to ease off cuz i wasnt that comfortable in the car yet and i knew he was gonna kill me ne way. but i was completely suprised by my volvo!

I might have been inclined to agree with you...and then like a douche you went and posted the following:

Well gee, with stunts like that it won't be long until you're posting on the Volvo boards about how you can't afford another S60 and the best you can do is a Civic hatch.

And BTW, I wouldn't be bragging about "waxing" an E90 328i or an FX45 seeing as your car is already faster on paper. Not trying to crap you out but be realistic. I'd like to hear about the 335i that whooped your ***. Or did you put your tail between your legs when you saw the dual exhausts?

Seriously, does the word responsibility mean anything to you?

First off the the beamer goes 0-60 5.5seconds the S60R goes 0-60 5.38/5.43 soo you were saying braggin about cars that you can beat on paper??? o and they are the exact same weight weird huh..soo im not quite sure you know what your talking about...

SECOND, I am not racing around in heavy rain i was simply implying the all-wheel drive system workd well in the HEAVY RAIN we've had.

And Third I am not riding around trying to race or line up wiht people...they pull up and want to see what happens. In the instances I am refering too with other cars and off ramps as such were only when the roads we empty and danger of other cars is minimalized.

I am sure everyone who is a member to the forum Tests their cars out and pushes them at some point...if they didnt there would be no point in own this type of vehicle or anything like it. otherwise we would all drive camrys and stay under the speed limit

but thanks for your input you really contributed a lot.

Yes I do live in Hawaii. I've also managed to avoid plowing my '07 Sedan into a wall at 65mph. Gee I wonder how you managed that? Must be all that responsible driving.

Oh, and 335is run to 60 in under 5 seconds with a good driver. 328is make the run to 60 in the low 6s, not the mid 5s. Looks like you're the one who needs to check his facts.

1 i put my car into the wall avoiding someone who cut me off and the roads were wet.

2. I WAS REFERING TO THE BMW 335...why would i even bother POSTING TIMES of a 328??? THE 335...pay attention NOW...GoES 0-60 in 5.5 I dont care if DALE EARNHARDT is DRIVING THE CAR...ITS A TWIN TURBO THE REAL POWER COMES IN AT MIDRANGE ACC.. NOT OFF THE LINE plus IT only HAS 300hp and its HEAVIER THAN THE OLD M3 which had 333hp and was LIGHTER with a STIFFER SUSPENSION...WHICH went 0-60 in 4.5secs so As i repeat YOUR FROM HAWAII you obviously do not know whats going on BUT ALL of this INFO is availible AT BMWUSA.com

I know the whole internet thing is kinda new to you guys considering you just got indoor plumbing a couple years ago...but Try to look **** up b4 you post

again THANKS FOR CONTRIBUTING

IF the 335 ran in the 4's that means the M3 would have to RUN in the 3's to keep up with its "M" standard THATS PORSCHE turbo/LAMBO times Not that feasible for an Everyday type car like the M3...now SHUSH!
