Oh, and 335is run to 60 in under 5 seconds with a good driver. 328is make the run to 60 in the low 6s, not the mid 5s. Looks like you're the one who needs to check his facts.
I love Hawaii......

This thread has gotten way off topic.....leave to somebody way out and alone on a island to stir up some trouble.

thank you focused I agree i started it because i figured i wasnt the only one to get in an accident with their G...so if anyone has been in an accident and has some pics..coupe/sedan/z please post em up and tell us your story

if you have nothing to contribute and you are jsut speculating on peoples driving or their accident do not post.

WE should just hope that everyone involved in the accident was OKAY because they can happen at anytime and to anyone.

Back on topic....

I am glad all you folks survived those accidents. Or at least are
showing what happend.

Can anybody give approximal cost to the repairs? Can you confirm discredit the reports that the G35 is the most expensive car to repair that the Highway
saftey guys announced last month?

Thanks.

Sure sure. You believe what you want to believe. Someone cut you off and you plowed into a wall at 65mph. Let me guess, VDC was turned off?

You were saying? The 335i is a lot quicker than BMW makes it out to be. Everyone knows the motor is underrated. M/T got the 335i Coupe 6A/T in the G37 vs. 335i comparo to hit 60 in 5.1 seconds. ''

Yah that's 5.1 seconds. Can you count tenths? Not 5.5, but 5.1.

NOT OFF THE LINE plus IT only HAS 300hp and its HEAVIER THAN THE OLD M3 which had 333hp and was LIGHTER with a STIFFER SUSPENSION...WHICH went 0-60 in 4.5secs so As i repeat YOUR FROM HAWAII you obviously do not know whats going on BUT ALL of this INFO is availible AT BMWUSA.com
Yes because having a car equipped with twin turbochargers automatically means that you'll be short on bottom end torque. WRONG. The 335i is one of the most lag free turbocharged cars on the market. Oh but that's right, turbos only = mid range power. Yes because we all know that 300 ft-lbs. @ 1400 rpm = mid range, not low range. Stupid. Funny that I know that all the way here in Hawaii and yet you remain clueless.

Oh and news flash, BMW underrates their cars genius. Funny that I know that all the way here in Hawaii and yet you remain clueless.

BTW the 335i makes more torque at 1400 rpm than the E46 M3 did throughout it's entire rev range. Funny that I know that all the way here in Hawaii and yet you remain clueless.

Oh and one more thing. The upcoming yet-to-be-released V8 powered E92 M3 is out torqued by its 335i sibling as it's peak torque comes on at 3900 rpm vs. the 335i which reaches its peak torque figure by 1400 rpm. Funny that I know that all the way here in Hawaii and yet you remain clueless.

You should try taking a whiff of your own "advice." Then perhaps you'll avoid owning yourself on a message board, sort of the virtual equivalent of plowing into a wall at 65mph.

That sucks. Main thing is no one was hurt. Your machine can always be replaced, you on the other hand...you only have one shot. Good to know you walked away.

and for my accident you have no idea whats its like to drive over here or the conditions of the roads..you live where I vacation...so stop speculating like you have any idea how accidents happen in the tri-state area..and NEWFLASH the SPEED LIMIT is 65mph here so me hitting the wall at 65 isnt to rediculous! weather conditions and ****ty drivers that move to NY area from BUMBLE F*CK areas like where you live and cant handle driving with other cars and 18 wheelers all over cause accidents all the time.. I know your not tooo busy cuz you work at a CAR dealership in HI and theres only liek 50 people on the island. but just stop you really dont have a clue DUUDEE...and just aheads up...when your write :roll eyes...and put smilely faces in you look like a homo...but i guess your from HI so who knows

You're. Apparently your spelling is as bad as your driving.

On a side note. The specs for the 335i are the same in Europe as they are in the US. As for the rest of your post, I didn't bother to read most of what you typed as it seemed like mindless rambling.

Now settle down, behave and post up more pics of your wreck in this sorry excuse for a "pity thread" that is the brainchild of your brilliant mind.

Damn, I'm glad everybody is okay.

Wicked, what did you hit to cause this:

I guess you found the limitz of your G (sorry, I couldn't resist).

For the record, I wouldn't mind living in Hawaii, even if it meant I didn't exist.
