I know a lot of people here are bound to their dealers but I am sick and tired of mine..

1 ) When I first came in to check out the car and asked for a test drive. The floor manager gave me some stupid BS excuse that they dont give test drives out because the rocks on the road. It'll chip the paint..blah blah.. When a couple weeks before when my friend test drove one he was able to drive one no problem.

2 ) Giving the shady attitude I still wanted a G and reluctantly I went back and bought myself a G Coupe bought it from the same floor manager that gave me this whole charade "why not buy an automatic" its in STOCK. Being pushed to buy something else when I knew what I wanted. Didnt want to drive far as hell to find another Infiniti Dealer. (Each dealer is 20 miles from me there is one that is 70 miles from me)

3 ) Setting up for an oil change. I called in and told them I needed to have and oil change and the rear fender clear bra is falling off. So if they could fix it. They schedule me at the worst possible time. (3pm during mass traffic hours >.<) Finally I get there and I get to the service desk.. and apparently no one was ready for me. No one even knew who I was. I was bounced to 3 service people one after another. Then finally one giving me shady attitude since he didnt know about it, he signed me up for the oil change.

4 ) He asked me if I wanted a complimentary car wash. I specifically SAID NO.
(I'm a car detailer and I know dealerships give out pathetic clear coat scratching car wash's) After the oil change was over he said he had time to get me a car wash. ? As if I Said "if possible get me one".. I hate them..

5 ) The scheduled clear bra fixture was discarded since they didnt know about me. Apparently the scheduled time I made wasn't good enough. So they told me to call them back next week to get it fixed.. ( I havent called them back yet).

6 ) And yet again... This morning they call me. I didnt pick up because I was sleeping. So I call them back a minute later. Telling them I got a call from here. Instead of trying to figure out why they called me. They tell me you got the wrong number and hang up.


I F***ING HATE INFINITI OF DENVER

On that final note is there anyway I am able to change dealerships??

what do you mean by change dealerships. you can go to any dealer you want. you could also try the nissan dealer for your oil changes. i don't know about warranty work though. just go to another dealer and rip them a new one when you get the survey.

 

i thought i was the only one. i went in after speaking with an internet sales rep. he knew exactly what i wanted and 2 weeks later i got a call saying that the car i exactly wanted has arrived. i went there and he said, do u want to sign?

i said no, can i test drive it? he said, no because its a 6mt and he doesnt want me to ruin it or put mileage on the car. so i said whatever. went over for the price and he said 41k out the door. i said, thats seems a little steep. i grabbed his business car and wrote a price 39k. gave it to him and he said, he cannot do that. he can sell it to someone else for about 41k.

i said, i'll just keep shopping around and will call him back if i decide to take the car.

2 months later, i get a call saying u can have it for the price i had asked for.

 

LOL heres a few thing to know about a dealer.. (now this is no reason for the attitude they gave you but keep in mind unless your in cali or a area with alot of car business there isnt much compititon for the dealers)

1. Sales. Whatever price they give you.. hit them 4k down.. after they give you the price hit them again for 2k down.. if they say no.. ask the salesman to give you the address (not phone number) to the next infiniti dealer.. easy as that.. just leave.. if your in a hurry.. by all means go to the other dealer.. if not then go home and enjoy the rest of the day.. remember car buying is fun and a game not life or death.. you do not need the new car today.. and TRUST me the sales man will call you back

2. If a salesman ****s you over.. you can threaten his servey that you'll get.. that effects their pay =) as well as the dealer's overall score

3. Service.. if you go into any dealer at around 3pm you probably wont be helped especially if its only for an oil change. =\
- your not doing warranty work so you will not recieve a survey that effects their pay
- they make .3hr - .5hr on an oil change.. to them they have better things do to
- techs usually leave around 4-5pm so you're not going to be the most welcomed thing there
- what you should do is make an appointment for 8am.

3. You are not stuck with a dealer.. HOWEVER if the sales department promised you a clear bra then you must go to the dealer to collect it.

4. remember you can effect their pay directly ..

as far as test driving goes.. the daelers have certain cars they test drive as test cars.. so they do not rack up miles on their inventory and do not risk damaging the car.. okey now you might be mad at the fact that you cannot test drive the car you want to buy.. let me ask you this.. would you want 10 people who you have no idea of their ability to drive stick to drive your brand new infiniti g35 coupe that you're going to buy for 40k only to find that theres 30miles worth of TEST DRIVES on it? lol i dont know about you but I intend to take whatever car I'm testing up to the redline especially if I'm going to buy it

Haha yah you have to remember I was venting.. and me just waking up me being grudgy. No good..

And yah I know its not most of them being *******s.. Im sure they got **** going in their lives to. I just got the ones having a bad day? / had a banana stuck up there asses.

But it just seems like everytime I've gone there ive had a bad experience.

and as far as the test driving goes..
I test drove a friends G in Cali his was an auto. I wanted to drive a stick.
The reason I wanted a test drive so badly was because I wanted it to compare it to the evo. I went all crazy about the evo. Since a couple days before I bought the car I test drove a modified evo8 and a stock evo 9.
Boost sure does feel good.

But yah the question was about warranty.. Would other dealers fix the problem?
Basically my driver side window is acting up making weird noises when coming up. want to get it looked at
