I had an 03 & now a 05x black with only 11,000 miles on it & never hardly driven on the highway or follow too close & my hood & drivers door are covered in paint chips. We use my wife's 05 Honda Odyssey for travel & it is black & hardly a chip with 36,000 miles.

I was hoping after all these years now in the market they could get it right?

I searched but did not find anything too specific other than the grill chip complaints.

Was thinking about an 07 but it seems they still have kinks to work out after 5 years of the G, besides all the other Nissan products on the road?

 

You are absolutely right about the cheap paint in the front fasica! My new G sedan has a little over 2,400 miles and the front grill is pitting along with medium to heavy stone chips. The 3 other cars in the family, the oldest being the 2003 Camary looks about the same wear and tear as my new G! I can't believe how easily the paint chips in the front spoiler!!!!!! All of the other cars that I've had in past did not have this problem(normal wear and tear). Truly unacceptable for two months old car.

I won't to get an 07 but after 2 G's & the ridiculous poor paint I think I have to look at BMW, Lexus, it really pisses me to have a car as new as yours & all paint chipped!!!
