broke it then stole it

so i went to watch a movie with my girl, and when i got back to the car the driver side window was broken. i was surprised, then when i looked inside, my portable navi was gone, i didn't think a 300$ navi was worth stealing. well my girl also left her coach bag in the car, but they didn't touch it. im just mad cuz i JUST had the windows tinted!!! and now after i filed the complaint to cop and stuff i drove the car home and it just didn't feel "GOOD" anymore..ne thing like this happen to you guys? any idea how much is the repair is if insurance doesn't handle it?

wow you didnt think a 300 dollar navigation system was worth stealing?! thats a bit naive... ive heard many stories of people stealing for far less. general rule: dont leave anything visible in your car.

Sorry to hear about the break in. My car was broken into and vandalized a little while ago. Total damage was $3,670.

Good luck with the repair.

All these (people?) think about is putting money in their pockets without
having to work! (at the carwash) Saw this in my own neighboorhood a few
weeks ago.....Mexican kid rides up on a bike smashes a cars window and
grabs whatever he can and rides off. I was in shock, couldn't believe what
I was seeing in my neighboorhood......live and learn!

Thats nothing, but I feel your pain. My Wheels, OEM Navi, and Center Console was stolen while I went on vacation. Came back to my car being held up with 1 brick.

If its less than his deductible the insurance company wont fix it...Their fine services only kick in above and beyond the deductible....

if these guys get on average 100 for items from each car they go into(assuming theyre not breaking into cars randomly without seeing anything they want inside) and they do 2-3 a day then theyre making enough to justify getting arrested for a navi. most people you think of as low life thieves make more than people with jobs

some thief broke in and tried to steal an oem radio out of my dad's 1980 280z 2+2....

my brother's '82 2seater 280z was broken into and they took my school bag with chem book and calculator...

i'm glad we moved out from those apartments... any, back on topic... yeah some thieves are ghetto enough to steal anything worth a penny... my younger brother had his 4-door integra's oem sideskirt stolen recently....

there was a post not too long ago about a fellow g member getting his clear corners swiped....

that sucks, you would think nothing is worth breaking into a car for. I mean if you are going to break into the car, steal the entire car, dont just break it for some navi or cds, thats stupid.

Sorry bro about your car, and that sucks you just got tint. good luck with repairs!
