i'm ordering some parts from Japan for the G and the guy was like I need to fax him a copy of my Drivers License Card because it's needed by Japenese law to verify address. Is this true or am i getting jerked?

 

about giving out that kind of personal info with identity theft ramped these days.

I ordered stuff through a guy on Ebay from Japan. Never had to disclose that kind of info, just name and shipping address. Paid through paypal and the stuff showed up in a few weeks.

 

Who are you ordering from? I had to do that with one site, I think it was j-garage.com. I don't think I had to do that with japanparts.com.
