I'm a dumb a**

I recently bought an 04 AMT G35X. Always had cars with e-brakes in the middle console. I was parked on a steep hill so I was using the e-brake but forgot to take it off when I pulled away. I drove around town (probably about 30 to 40 miles) and on the highway with the e-brake down. The whole time I'm driving the car has this slight shake to it...so i start to think something is wrong with the car. Eventually I figured out I was stupid and took the e-brake off.

So...now there is very slight shake that feels like it's coming from the rear wheels. I'm not a whiz when it comes to auto mechanics (as you can obviously tell from this post).
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the shake?
Also, what should I be checking to make sure it's not damaged?

Thanks for the help,
-B

You may have warped the rotors

Is there way that I can check that, or do would I need to take in to service?

If it shakes when you apply the brakes, they are likely warped. Unless you can change out the rotors on your own, I would take it in.

I don't know about warping the rotor.
Cuz e braked uses the inside of the rotor to brake not the same as normal brakes.

Is the vibration all the time or only when you brake?

Sorry for all the questions...

It does shake when I brake...but it also shakes without the brakes applied.

take it in and tell dealer that it's vibrating (don't tell them about the E brake)

They should be able to take care of that for ya.

my e brake cant barely hold my car from moving down a small incline Ive had it tightened an everything so I dought that the rotors are warped but like they said dont tell them anything but there is a shaking and let them deal with it
