Drive both. If the coupe feels as heavy as it is, I think the decision will be easy. And I think the coupe still looks like a deformed SC430 or some uber-Altima. I dont care what anybody says, the 37 coupe is a chick car. A sedan with the right wheels and springs looks way better than the coupe ever will IMO. Plus it's less expensive and will probably out run the coupe anyway due to the lower weight. Especially with the right tires/suspension.

The G35 series, Coupe or Sedan have up to 2007 always been known to be a good value for what you get. At this point with the price increase for the G37 and of course the full MSRP for probably 6 months or so, the G35 sedan seems to shine with regards to value.

You said you really wanted a coupe. . .get the coupe. . .
the end. . .

you'll have more regrets and wish you'd spent the extra cash. . .

even though I'm sure you'll have a little bit of a regret when you see a sedan on the road. . .but not as much

They won't budge on MSRP, forget it. The car is the flavor of the month, if you're willing to wait several months, then I'd try to go for the coupe. I'm in the same situation, but I think that I'll go with the sedan for that exact same reason. The coupe looks incredible but if I'm going to pay $600 or so on a lease, I'd rather be in a 335i.

After driving both cars (G37, G35) and weighing in on the the G frenzy right now. The sedan is king when it comes to value.

I have a 3 and 4 year old. The g35 Coupe is my daily driver, and my wife has the 4dr Altima. The Alty is our primary family car. If we get in a pinch or I need to haul the kids in my coupe, their car seats switch over and the kid fit just fine in the back. Not as convenient getting them in and out, but I only do it a few times a month so I am not complaining.

Now if only I can figure out how to get the kids into an Elise. Legally
