sticker in the inside of the side doors

i wanted to take off all the stickers that were in the inside of my doors, but cant seem to get off the manufacture one. the one where it gives the trim, color, model, vin number etc information on it and cant seem to get it off? if you took it off and it looks clean, howd you do it? and also... should i jus leave that one on? i already messed it up since i tried to take it off but failed so i want to take it off and jus keep the sticker in my car incase. any tips?

lol +1 there would be absolutely no reason why anyone would take that off...I havent noticed that sticker on any of the cars I have owned (other than if I needed some info from off of it).

If you ever have any incident with your car where you'd need fresh paint or bodywork paid for by someone's insurance, you'll be glad you have that sticker. Not only does it have your VIN, etc, it also has your paint's color code.

yes. i don't see why you want to take it off - just leave it on. i have no experience taking that sticker off, so i don't know how much help this is going to be... but if you really want to take it off, put a coat of car wax over it (no liquid), wait, then try and peel it. this works on most stickers and peels it whole without ripping it.

thanks for the tip man. i peeled all the other stickers off in the inside jus cuz it was too much for me. i want to leave the sticker wit the vin number on it and everything, but i already messed it up tryna peel it off and it jus looks ugly now, so i was planning on taking it off and leaving it in my car incase if i need it for anything. the vin number is already on the car in the dash and color code you could get anywhere. i jus thot it was too much wit all the stickers on the inside and didnt look as clean to me haha even tho iss in the inside.

so would turtle wax work for peeling it off?

I had some body work done to my car when my neighbor across the street ran into my G when backing out of her driveway and crushed my driver rear quarter with her big Chevy truck. I didn't notice that my sticker was gone until I took the car to the dealer and they asked me about it. I recently took my car in to have an aftermarket bumper installed and the shop asked me about it as well.

What kind of information is on that sticker? Is there a way to get another one from the manufacturer or dealer? Can I come after the body shop for having removed it?

Thanks for your help!

im pretty sure if you go to the dealer you bought your car at, theyll be able to print you out a new one. its significant information that i wish i didnt try and peel cuz now it jus looks ****ed up and bothers me.
