2 stupid n00b questions that I can't get answers to

Sorry if this has been hashed over many times.

1. Can you play a DVD in the NAV system's DVD drive? This pic makes me think so, but the dealer didn't know and we didn't have one to try it out. That would be a fantastic bonus with my kids in the back seat on a longer trip.

2. On the AT equipped cars, does the ECU change the fuel/timing maps when you switch into manual shift mode? The car seems to pull harder that way vs automatic shifting. Could be my imagination.

1. You can but you have to put something/ do something to it. I forgot whats its called....tvandnav.com? or something like that? Search tvandnav

2. i have no idea
