Considering a used g35 coupe, school me
Well, I recently took a job that is going to change my commute from 15miles/day to roughly 100/day. Thats just not going to work driving my truck. I've always loved the g35's since they first came out, but I don't know a ton about them. Are there any issues with particular years? What are some things I should check for while I'm shopping? I'd ideally like a black loaded auto coupe. What are the differences in the packages? How is reliability, and are there any major maintenance issues that come up at a certain mileage? I'd like to spend ~20k maybe a little more. Lastly, how functional are the back seat and trunk space? Is the back a women and children only zone? How is the trunk size? I'm a golf pro, so it's a must to be able to throw my sticks and a few pairs of shoes back there. Thanks for all the help guys.

6MT Coupe
Your fine with an auto. Reason I mention that is 05-06 6mt's with the 298hp rev-up VQ has many reports on here of oil consumption issues. I have one of those
so beware.

I have an 03 coupe manual and I'm very happy. No problems at all. I run the **** out of sometimes, but most of the time I baby it. No problems whatsoever. Trunk space is very sufficient for me and the back seats are good for kids or most women, but not ideal for a grown man over 6'. Just fine one that someone has taken care of and not raced if you're buying used.
if you have the money get an 05+ nicer interior
back seat is ok, and yes 2 golf bags will fit its tricky getting them in but they will fit

With 100 hundred miles a day you will be filling it up every 2.5 to 3 days, depending how much of it is in traffic. I have not had better than 20 miles a gallon yet, but even my long commute is half stop and go and half open driving. Otherwise I love it.
