Would you trade your 1st generation G coupe in for a 2nd generation G sedan???
They gave me a loaner 07 also and the power was OMG. BIG difference. If I can get that kind of power on my coupe I'd be satisfied. Then again I didnt buy my G for anything other than cruising, comfort, and daily driving.

The coupe is a sports car or sport coupe if you will. It handles, sounds and feels like a sport car.
If in the market for a sedan, I think the G35 is a kick *** great sedan but really hard to put them side by side and make a choice.
One is like a book and one like a movie in my opinion. They are both good but different.

Subjectively, I've driven the 6mt 07 sedan hard and it was still a bit more floaty than my 04 coupe (w/ 18s and LSD). I thought my coupe felt much more direct and communicative while the new sedan felt more isolated.
I will say the new sedan has a better ride compromise (waaay less harsh) but stock, the coupe handles better.
^i have driven the journey and it sucked as far as the body roll and stuff go, but never driven a stock coupe or a stock sport package 07 sedan. U might be right though. I did base my statement off of magazine numbers though. I have heard though that sport package is much has way better handling than the non-sport.

if you're in the market for a sedan 07+ is a VERY good choice! I'd easily recommend it over any other year... however, it's not so great that it’s worth trading up from my 04...
I'll say this - I'd go from gen 1 coupe to new sedan way before going from gen 1 sedan to the G37... yes, the G37 is that disappointing (to me) and the new sedan is that much better (to me).
Or – wait for a turbo coupe… I still believe it’s coming.

However, I took a second look at the new 2nd generation sedan, and it's freaking HOT. I actually rented an 07 sedan while in Vegas at the beginning of this year, and it drove pretty well...but it wasn't a Sport...but I dunno, I'm in the mood for a new car, and the front of the new Gs, both the sedan and the coupe, look the same...however, it fits a LOT better in the sedan than the coupe...
On the otherhand it does not make much sense financially to be trading your car every couple of years due to depreciation. I think you might be better off leasing.
simply put ... hell no. I dont care if getting my 2yr old in and out would easier with 4 doors. Coming back from Cars and Coffee the other day, I looked back at him to see him getting blasted in the face by the wind, his hair standing on end, and realizing that his huge grin was matched by my own ... theres just something about a coupe.
