i took my fiancee's vehicle to get a tire rotation/balance and oil change. The mechanic did the oil change but said he could not do the balance since the tires showed "cupping" signs. uneven wear i guess is what he meant...i touched the tires and i could not feel what he was talking about, is this true??? you cant balance tires that have "cupping", he said the best thing is to buy new tires, personally i think he was just trying to make an extra buck...any input???
