read the oil analysis and you will stop overpaying for an oil that gets outperformed by dino castrol gtx. pay particular attention to the wear analysis. i was planning on going with 5w-30 RP when i first got this car but the info on my350z swayed me in the right direction. for anyone that has not seen it yet. my350z oil analysis

 

5k with M1

 

5k with Castro 0W-30

 

4500k on Mobil1

 

3500-3750 with dino, especially with oem Nissan filter.

5000-7500 with Amsoil 0w-30 w/their Ea filter or 6mo.Know that thread well....

 

Since I don't put a lot of miles on my G like I have done in the past with my
previous cars I change it every 4 months......Red Line Synthetic 10/30 and
always a K&N oil filter. Overkill I know, but I wash out my garage every
month too (clean freak)........

 

every 3k... usually on the mark.

(It helps that my father is a mechanic and it's done for free!!)

Every 3k with M1 15W50 and a nissan filter.

If I were N/A I would wait until ~4k.

 

5k, Castrol Syntec 5W-30, Purolater PureOne Oil Filter.

 

i do mines every 3k miles with mobile1 synthetic oil!

 

i would not pass 3500

 

3k miles with M1 5w-30 full syn and M1 filter

 

You guys have a lot of money to spare... changing oil every 3K miles even when using synthetic oils

I change my oil every 3750 miles with a good conventional oil (Pennzoil, Castrol, Havoline, Valvoline)
