Reattaching rear lettering

Hey all,

I want to take off the lettering on the trunk so i can polish the tail end. Right now, ever part of the car is nice and polished except around letters where the polisher can't reach. My question is what is the best way to reapply the lettering after i'm done so its nice and straight and in the right location? Any help would be appreciated.

Purchase new lettering that comes preinstalled on a template. Its going to be near impossible to reinstall the lettering perfectly.

That was i was afraid of. The infiniti symbol, lettering, and G35 together would run around 100 bucks. =\

Leave them off as it looks better & you don't want to go thru that every time you polish?

+1
You can likely reinstall the Infiniti symbol without too much trouble and leave the rest off for a cleaner look

Read a thread where a member put adheasive magnetic strips on badges and could remove/reinstall easily.
Could get stolen too easily imo and don't close your trunk hard
