Was this my VDC kicking in?

So I took a freeway exit ramp a little too fast today. It was a right hand curve bending slightly downhill. I was going about 60 and felt the left front wheel suddenly shudder for about 1/2 to 3/4 of a second. It felt like the antilock-brakes kind of shudder, but I hadn't applied the brakes yet.

Was that the VDC working? I was under the impression that VDC didn't apply brakes, but only limited power to the rear wheels.

Thanks!

(BTW, I was not breaking any posted speed limits and do not condone such behavior.)

T'anks guys.

And it will apply brakes to only one of four wheels, if that's what it decides is needed?

It is a blessing and a curse, I don't push my G nearly as hard as I did my Z, but I still get the VDC working on a strong launch(when I forget to turn it off)

How do you feel it/know it activates on a strong launch?

I've only felt my VDC kick in a few times in almost 3 years...I tend to push my car close to spinning the wheels but not quite. It is a strange feeling like my body feels the accelaration but then the car slows...so your body still thinks the car is accelerating ... I think you know what I mean...

Thanks guys, I have felt that 'turbo lag' during heavy acceleration. I'll be turning it off more often to experiment.

No it didn't.

Does the slip light ALWAYS come on when VDC activates?
