i have an appointment tommorow morning to get it looked at, they said they will put it on the lift and if its under warranty it will be free to look at, if its for some reason not under warranty, it will cost 53 dollars just to put it on the lift haha

went to the dealership today to get it checked out, it ends up being the Y Pipe. the last owner had damage done to the Y pipe and there was a little welding but there is a leak on it, they said its going to be about $650 to replace it... I think thats ridiculous.

Also, the car takes synthetic oil right?

You can get an aftermarket Y-Pipe on ebay for much much cheaper.

Yes, if you want to, you can use synthetic oil.

Well I don't want to get a crappy Y PIPE, are the ebay ones any good? Would they change the sound of the exhaust?

Search man, just because parts are from ebay, doesnt mean they are cheap. There are lots of good deals on good parts on ebay.

also, is it right that the dealership charged me 53 dollars to look at the exhaust? my car is under warranty but they said the exhaust had a hole welded by someone else.?

no they should not charge you... just because they didnt weld the exhaust they want to charge you thats ****ing stupid... dont pay...
