new to the g35 :-D
im happy as hell, i got my first 2004 G35 Coupe 6spd with 36,000 miles on it today, anyway, I have a question...
When I rev the engine, it sounds a little weird underneath the vehicle. For some reason, I think there is a hole in the muffler. I can "kind of" hear the nice exhaust it has. What I mean by kind of is that you can hear it but its not as loud as other g35s. Im glad it is still under warranty. Has anybody had this problem??
Also, the person I bought it from said it was a premium package but it does not have navigation, but it has the brembo brakes. What package is it. Thanks!!

Congrats on the car! The 'problem' you're talking about is hard to define. Are you saying the exhaust is too quiet? lol
If you can post sound clips to see if this is really a problem. The stock exhaust is hard to hear with the windows up,
but with the windows down its constant eargasms

when I rev the engine, at the end of the rev you can hear something strange under neat the vehicle. something like its "farting" under there. Thats what it kind of sounds like. LOL.
Hi, and welcome to the forum.....
I believe the 04 6MT has all the options standard.....with the exception of NAV and maybe the spoiler/aero package. Most came with the Premium package. Also, You have the sport suspension with the larger 18" wheels and Brembo brake package. You also have the LSD, limited slip differential.
As far as your car "farting", It probably is a small leak somewhere in the exhaust. maybe a loose clamp/connection.
If its still under warranty, take it in and have the dealer look at it.

i went to the dealership today but there were no mechanics working. someone that worked there although did look under and said that it wasnt the original exhaust, which is hard to believe. he said it was welded under there and infiniti doesnt weld anything.

As for the premium package navi is a separate option... you can have premium with out navi...
