I posted some info on that car before. The guy must be having a hard time finding a buyer, because he has had for sale a few months now.

if you guys read the article in Turbo magazine it explains a lot about the questions you're asking. Here's the article, http://www.turbomagazine.com/feature...upe/index.html and the G is dropped on Tein Flex, and the reson they probably look a little funny is because they have the Atessa AWD setup also taken from the R-34 GTR, so some modifications had to be made to the wheels.. the front wheels are the ones that look funny to me, probably cuz they had to dump the front axle, I dunno if they could've gone widebody or maybe some other option.. The quote from the magazine

"In order to use the AWD setup in the rear-drive G35, a few choice modifications had to be made. The front axles were dumped, along with the transfer case off the side of the transmission. A custom driveshaft is used, and a JE Pro Fab custom shift lever was made to give the car a completely stock look interior-wise...."

all that work went into that car and the water and oil pressure pods are just screwed to dash...that with the cheap pod cluster on the pillar makes the interior look like crap. It doesn't take much (well alot less than the motor swap did) to make a few gauge pods that look halfway decient..

That car looks terrible (decals and wheel offset) and overpriced IMO. Who the hell photoshops a car blazing down the road with a loading dock 20 feet behind them? Just looks real cheesy and amateur-ish.

^ +1 I didn't even notice the loading dock...hehe... Anyway, yep, he hasn't sold it because it's priced unreasonably high. Regardless of how much you mod a car, you're never going to fetch that much off the base value....

I wouldn't be surprised if the same guy photoshops cars while parallel parked.

Those wheel offsets remind me of a new G37 I saw yesterday at Crest Infiniti in Dallas.

They had installed 20" Axis wheels on the car and I think they erred on the offset. The tires stuck out like a monster truck.

Can you say rooster tails while driving in the rain???

You mis-read the article. He is not running Atessa AWD. They dumped the front axles and transfer case. Meaning, he is not using them. You need a transfer case in order to run 4WD or AWD. Further evidence is when the owner says he has a hard time driving straight under boost. Also, if you check his Ebay listing, it says the transmission was modified to run RWD, not AWD.
