Anti-Lacerative Coating

Anti-Lacerative Coating on Windshield?
My husband bought me a new radar detector for Christmas. While reading the manual, it says the suction cups can do damage to vehicles with a soft anti-lacerative coating on the windshield. I was wondering if anyone knew if the G35's had this or not. I'm guessing since the inspection and registration stickers are on the windshield it will be fine, but just wanted someone else's opinion. Thanks!

OK, thanks for making me feel dumb. I had to look up "lacerative"!
If he's talking about the part of a windshield that keeps it from shattering into many pieces when it breaks (keeping you inside the car and big 2x4s out), that's actually sandwiched between two pieces of glass. I don't believe there is any coating on the exterior or interior surface of the G35s windshield.
Mike's Mount is a great alternative.
