No, but I think its time. I love the G ride to death, but I think they should've hit the engineering board a little longer before they released the car.

Between oil consumption and transmissions going bad I think I got the lemon of the bunch. I havent brung my car to the shop just yet, but when I do I'm hitting them hard. My car consumes oil like a bitch and my tranny makes all types of noise when my clutch is released. Sounds like marbles in my transmission.

03 with 45K on it. Tranny is fine but OEM clutch is starting to go. Gonna replace it after it completely dies but tranny still seems tip top.

75k on original clutch/tranny on a first allocation 2003 coupe. Three people learned to drive MT on it and I've drag raced, auto-crossed, and tracked the car dozens of times.

50K on mine, only issue so far is grinding when I upshift to second at high RPMs (double-clutching resolves this but slows me down just a smidge)

First owner of a 03 6mt coupe close to 53k miles, NO tranny replacement.

I believe in Japanese engineering

edit: Original everything except brakes, rotor, tires(obviously).

'04 6MT coupe - almost 45K and no tranny replacement. I am experiencing the same occasional problem with second at high RPMs previously mentioned - not a mis-shift, probably the synchromesh.

05 6MTC, at 31K miles, tranny replaced for bad syncros...and thank goodness. Prior to the switch, it would grind into 5th regardless of rev matching or double clutching it...3rd would also on occasions. Dealer swapped it out with no issues, 1.5 days and a loaner. After wards, the entire tranny felt smoother, gears engaged better than day 1 with the old tranny.
