Hmm, the two parties that would benefit most from your keeping you car says it's clear title. The two that don't are saying it is. Go get your money back.

Carfax says it's salvage?? Print and show it to the dealer.

Carfax has been known to have incorrect information (omissions AND additions) on their records - just FYI

Well you covered everyone (dealer, bank, carfax, infiniti) except the DMV. What does the DMV say, as they will have the final word.

They are tryin to say that carfax is wrong.. I have heard that carfax is incorrect sometimes but infiniti told me that it was a salvage car.. My local infiniti told me to contact them and have them call down here monday.. So we will see then. Infiniti told me that he might have got the car rebuilt and got the tittle clear from a salvage repair place which is iilegal.. And they told me that Infiniti knows about every vehicles made from them around the us. I dont know i guess we will see monday.

How does Infiniti know it was a salvage? Carfax?

In a perfect world they would keep records of every salvage title so that if a VIN popped up with a clean and clear title which was once salvaged, they'd know right away.

Another option may be to use the Carfax or Infiniti information to contact the previous owner, and ask them. Or, the DMV in Texas. They'd probably know.

Did you carefully inspect the car - is there repaint? overspray? new bolts? Weld joints, etc?

I say the proof is in the pudding, not on some document or title.

This doesnt make sence.

A infiniti dealer would never sell a salvage title vehicle. No large corprate dealerships does. Most will never even take it a trade in for any amount of money

If you bought it from a small mom-pop delaer, you signed a discloser that stated you know the vehicle has a salvage title.
Then now you can just bite the dust.

All the salvage car dealer needs to do is pass the DMV salvage inspection and the cars can be resold.

Dealers do not honor warrenties on salvag title cars.

My hood is repainted... I can tell by the streaks... I bought it from a used car lot but it was a big car lot with a couple hundred cars there...

go back to the damn car lot and talk to them and figure this all out.

call the dmv directly and as them what the titi;le is on your vin, if they say its salvaged then its salvaged.

If they didn't disclose this info to you at the dealership you bought it from then you need to go there to resolve this
