car spin or drift in rain

quick question i notice that when it rains my car has the tendencies to spin or act like it's starting to drift. Has anyone encountered anything like that while driving there G?
I have stock wheels and tires.. i have not put the new ones on as of yet. I was just wondering has anyone else notice that.

any car is like that. Rain usually means less traction.

What is the condition of your tires? When was the last time your car had an alignment? How are the toe settings?

well the tires have about 75% tread. The car has been aligned twice since i had it.. the last time was about 4 months ago.. The toe and camber has not been changed since i bought the car last year (well not changed since i know of unless they changed something in the alignment)

common sense should take care of that problem. I haven't had any "unexpected" situations at all.

I think the better question is ... what did you drive before, if you had a FWD civic w/ 108 hp... there is your problem... it takes some getting used to to move over to a RWD car with 306 hp

Agreed . . . If your car is mechanically sound . . . Then you are driving inappropriately for the conditions at hands. Be careful out there.

Good question. Now that the OP said it's still turned on the next question is does the SLIP light flash when you feel it drifting? If it does, you are. If it doesn't then either you've got VDC problems or the drifting feeling is in your head. Hey, did you recently condition the leather seats? That will give you a drifting feeling around corners.

If you're driving normally in the rain and you feel like you're drifting... that sounds kind of scary... and dangerous

but who says I can't drift with an auto x.x
